IVAN FLORENCE JOINS FLORENCE, STRENGTHENING THE FAMILY-OWNED BRAND

[NORTH SHORE, OAHU, HI, JUNE 21, 2024] – FLORENCE is excited to announce that Ivan Florence – younger brother to John and Nathan Florence and renowned surfer, skater, and snowboarder – will be joining their eponymous brand.

“Ivan joining the team marks a significant milestone for us,” said FLORENCE CEO, Jeff Hurley. “We now have all the Florence brothers and Hurley brothers working together towards a unified vision.. With his style & ability to cross over sport, Ivan embodies the FLORENCE mission of challenging ourselves to get out there & thrive in the elements.”

John Florence, Co-Founder of FLORENCE, Olympian & 2X World Champion, added, “When we started this brand, I hoped that both of my brothers would choose to someday join. I wasn’t sure that it would ever happen, so today feels surreal…Florence is truly a family business! We’re so excited to welcome Ivan aboard. He’s got a completely unique outlook on products, style, and way of approaching life. It’s largely defined by his time in the ocean, mountains, and while skating which we think is a huge addition to growing the brand!
LET’S GO!”

Ryan Hurley, FLORENCE Chief Creative Officer, said “Florence started with John’s passion for positive impact, and a desire to build something truly different with family & community. It’s a unique privilege to share this vision with our combined families now working together toward fresh solutions.”

Yes, I agree and stoked that “Mr. Cool” is now joining his brothers to ride for Florence. Ivan does bring a fresh, creative element to Florence with his unique and casual style as a surfer, skater & snowboarder which will broaden the vision of Florence in the future. On another note… when will you guys just use the burgee logo on the nose of the boards for John, Nathan & Ivan + team riders? The burgee logo would look so much better and sick, then the current rectangular Florence sticker on their boards.
